Our product for Bespoke Third Sector Recruitment is made up of design, development and print media. As a new start-up in both employment and charitable sectors, it was paramount that our involvement with Bespoke Third Sector placed them above and beyond their competitors with a stand-out persona and seamless functionality.

The Bespoke Third Sector website functions primarily as a job-board and application system directed at individuals looking for work, voluntary or otherwise, in the third-sector.

As an employment agency, BTSR also required their site to attract potential employers. To aid this we provided them with opportunity to allow potential employers submit job vacancies to the site, there and then.

The social element to this project serves two core functions; to give their existing users a format to stay up to date with their latest jobs and announcements, alongside the promotion of new jobs across social networks, enabling them to find new members for their audience using the relative cues for each social network.

We worked very closely with BTSR on the design of this project as they had already got a vision for the way their business needed to be portrayed. We optimised the visual appeal of the site, to their specification, by talking through each element of the site at every stage of both the design and development process.

The technologies used to produce the Bespoke Third Sector website were:

After completing our product for Bespoke Third Sector Recruitment, their sister company, Bespoke Health and Social Care got in touch, interested in having a similar system of their own.

Bespoke Health & Social Care required the same functionality as their similarly named sibling; however their emphasis was to be a little different. BHSC required their site to primarily be a promotional springboard, targeting their potential clients. The need for a job board and applicant management system was a secondary.

With self-promotion being key, the design of the Bespoke Health & Social was integral to its success. Whilst researching alongside members of BHSC, we discovered that their competitors online presence was either very dull, or simply too abstract. Websites in this field need to be useable beyond doubt. This lead us to provide an impacting balance of traditional website organisation/usability with engaging content and aesthetics.

Operating in the healthcare industry, Bespoke Health & Social Care required a more procedural process to dealing with applicants to their jobs. We created for them a secondary application process, which would deal with successful applicants once they had gone through the standard job board application process. To achieve this, we provided them with a custom-built area within their site; this allowed approved candidates to login and complete a series of forms required for employment within this heavily regulated industry. Once complete these forms are delivered electronically to the BHSC head office for further processing.

We worked very closely with BTSR on the design of this project as they had already got a vision for the way their business needed to be portrayed. We optimised the visual appeal of the site, to their specification, by talking through each element of the site at every stage of both the design and development process.

As our parent organisation, we’ve worked with Edson Consulting for many years. Throughout 2012, Edson Consulting wanted to change their marketing and business focus, and as a result all of their promotional material.

We started with their new website, taking the fun and quirky nature of their old website, and wrapping it in a more personal, and yet more professional, high-gloss approach.

As an employment agency, BTSR also required their site to attract potential employers. To aid this we provided them with opportunity to allow potential employers submit job vacancies to the site, there and then.

Edson revealed to us that their on-going problem with their own promotional material has always been the content. In an industry where statistics speak volumes, and no-one has time to read a whole back-catalogue, we focused on providing Edson with a website that was concise and to the point. We provided Edson with a more relevant page-structure to the clients they wanted to talk to, giving the feel of simplicity and instant knowledge, whilst maintaining the ability to drill-down through layers of information, for those that had the time and interest.

The technologies used to produce the Edson Consulting website were:

  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • jQuery
  • PHP
  • Wordpress

After completing their new website, we were asked to produce a series of physical promotional materials for Edson to use at several key conferences in their calendar. The items produced were as follows:

  • Pop-up Banners (2m)
  • Business Cards
  • Stress Balls
  • Logo Stand Plaque
  • New Brochures
  • Conversion of old brochures in new style
